Automated Metadata Helps Merlin DAM Users find Images

April 18, 2016

Is it a bird, a plane, or maybe just a yellow sunset? How cool would it be for a computer to describe what is in your photo and what are predominate colors so you can easily find it later? Just ask some Merlin customers and they can tell you. MerlinOne’s new Automated Metadata Enhancement (AME) option is being piloted by a handful of Merlin Digital Asset Management system customers-Nebraska Game and Parks, Humane Society of the United States and Save the Children.   As images are imported into their Merlin DAM systems, they are being analyzed for visual content; keywords, colors and even a memorability ranking are added to items automatically based on what is in an image. “Adding metadata can be a time consuming chore. And without metadata your images cannot be easily found, if ever. Adding metadata can take minutes per image, and if a service is available that does that automatically and somewhat reliably, it’s a win for everyone. Even...

What is new with our Tennis elbow brace - Golf elbow brace

April 19, 2016

In my last article, I wrote about the customer service for our Forbram , Golf Elbow Brace, Tendonitis Elbow Brace, Elbow Pain Brace and Bowling Elbow Brace. Now, I would like to reveal our plans for the future. Our tennis elbow brace - golf elbow brace has taken off on Amazon and we are doing our utmost to ensure that our customers are satisfied. Despite that, we have also begun thinking about what comes next. There are several options, but in the end, the request from some of our customers to create a Forbram , Golf Elbow Brace, Tendonitis Elbow Brace, Elbow Pain Brace and Bowling Elbow Brace Double Pack has won out. The argument was relatively logical. I use the tennis elbow brace during sport, but also at home and at work and I do not always want to have to wash it. Initially, we thought that the customer should simply buy another one and that would be that, but you know how it is. If there are two, they could be cheaper, reduced overheads, etc.  We therefore called...

April 18, 2016

SHIRLEY, NY - 4/12/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET) -- Creative Peptides, a reliable supplier of peptides manufacturing upon academic, clinical, commercial and government laboratories in diverse applications, is introducing its efficient product to help drive the development of protein quantitative algorith.  Recently, labeling of proteins and peptides with stable heavy isotopes (deuterium, carbon-13, nitrogen-15, and oxygen-18) has been widely used in quantitative proteomics. In fact, such labeling has long been a staple of NMR spectroscopy studies. It can be useful for the determination of protein structure and dynamics or protein-protein interactions, by allowing for the incorporation of NMR active nuclei which can help reduce the complexity of spectra and help researchers obtain new correlations between atoms for more complete structural information.  Nowadays, increasing number of scientists are trying to discover more effective methods...
